Stefan was hanging out at a skatepark in Burbank, sharing some cool stories about his cover shots. Back in 2003, Joe Brook captured his Slap cover on the campus of Davis, CA, where Stefan pulled off a switch crook. That same month, Oliver Barton snapped Stefan's very first Skateboarder cover. His second Skateboarder cover came from John Bradford, who shot it in the iconic 405 ditch. For the third cover, Stefan was on a Habitat trip in Mexico City, where Jonathan Mehring was behind the lens. The fourth and final Skateboarder cover was also taken by Mr. Mehring while Stefan was living it up in NYC. Then there was the Skateboard Mag cover, which was shot during an Analog trip to Athens, Greece, by Antton Miettinen. In 2006, Oliver Barton was back at it again, capturing a cover for Transworld in San Francisco. The TWS Business Journal featured a shot at a double set in Ripon, CA. Later on, they stumbled across a local newspaper called Submerge, which also had Stefan on the cover.
